Our Rector

The Reverend Caroline Cox Goodkind
Rector, St. George’s Episcopal Church
IN HER OWN WORDS. . .
"God is all that we long for! Jesus has the
answer, no matter the question!
"These are bedrock certainties of my own life and my own
faith journey. This is the Good News I am blessed to share through my
vocation as a priest in the Episcopal Church. St. George’s Church
is a welcoming place of nurture. All who seek relationship with God are
included in our church family without reservation. The
transforming love of Jesus Christ creates a sanctuary for
self-examination, growth and healing. Supporting and ministering to
each other inspires us, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to spread
God's Good News of love and acceptance in spiritual witness to the
community..
"St. George’s is a young, growing church. It is
exciting to share in the discovery of God's possibilities here.
Celebrating Holy Eucharist on Sunday mornings in both traditional and
contemporary styles of Episcopal liturgy offers, in my way of thinking,
the best of all possibilities for worship, right here in one place!
That folks at St. George’s cultivate a "hands on" approach to mission
and outreach enriches all our lives. Grateful and faithful service in
Christ's name helps us move more deeply into the life God created us
for, life in God's Kingdom."
